Rounder Boogie Woogie Posted by: rounder2u
Video duration: 310 seconds In this riff-based boogie woogie you will find a few cross-rhythms e.g. a 5/4 chorus and a 7/8 chorus against eight to the bar, and in one chorus I'll give a little nod of appreciation to Chuck Berrys intro in Johnny B. Goode. The left hand notes (in G) are G, G, B, G, D, G, E, D and the fingering is 5, 5, 3, 5, 2, 5, 1, 2. The piano is an Yamaha P-120. Related: blues, boogie, piano, woogie |

Mima Blues (Yahama P-120 jazz organ setting) Posted by: rounder2u
Video duration: 219 seconds Here is my Mima Blues. The name Mima comes from the way I composed this song, by alternating the different choruses between Minor och Major. I simply took the first two letters in those words for the title. The piano is an Yamaha P-120 with the 'Jazz Organ' setting. To get the bass and drum I'm using the 'Split' function set to 'Wood Bass/Variation' up to the note C2. Related: blues, jazz, organ |
